The Gothic Garden of the Organ Hall - a new cultural space in Rivne as an ecological renovation of the territory of the architectural monument

Vision of the project

The Project involved experts from urbanists, architects, landscape designers, cultural heritage specialists, historians, local historians, artists, environmentalists and community representatives. Experts has jointly conducted research and discussed the issues of Rivne's urban identity, prepared practical recommendations and a technical order, on the basis of which an architectural project for the creation of the Gothic Garden of the Organ Hall will be developed. The concept of the site's redevelopment takes into account the neo-Gothic style of the building and the traditions of the residences of the Lubomirski princely family, who are the founders of the former St. Anthony's Church in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The Lubomirski family made a significant contribution to the cultural and economic development of Rivne, but the historical memory of this fact was leveled and destroyed by the Soviet authorities. As part of the Project, the team and active citizens worked together to clean up the territory of the future garden and plant vertical fence plants and a public presentation of the finished architectural project "Gothic Garden of the Organ Hall" was held. Finally, the first of the open-air concerts with the participation of a chamber orchestra was organized. This ensures that the Chamber and Organ Music Hall will become a real tourist magnet in Rivne in the future. The project is cross-sectoral, linking the sectors of urbanism, cultural heritage, music, ecology, and local tourism development. The project created a concept of a creative cultural space accessible to the community, tourists and guests of Rivne.
