The presentation opens with a set of provocations — five quotes from artists and cultural professionals (Ukraine, Croatia, Portugal, Denmark, France) used to prompt reflection on what "green mobility" actually means before any framework is introduced. It then presents On the Move's work on mobility and environmental sustainability since 2011, the key findings of the 2023 Cultural Mobility Forum in Tunis (the risk of "putting cultural diversity against biodiversity," the "green mental burden" placed on artists, funding schemes that reward green travel in principle but rarely budget for it), and a set of concrete tools: the holistic redefinition of green mobility, the SHIFT eco-certification framework, the On the Move/Green Room decision-making tool, and inspiration drawn from greening artistic residencies (including SAARI Residence). It closes with a call to advocate for adapted funding and a list of shared resources and links.
