From destruction to new life
Vision of the project
The purpose of the project was to restore and transform the presence of a school courtyard into a landscape park. The main goal was emotional rehabilitation and the restoration of faith in the future for students who had experienced occupation. The project aimed to involve students, volunteers, and the active community to create not only a place to wait for a school bus but also an emotionally significant space for children who had experienced the horrors of occupation and military events.
The project included the creation of a landscape architecture work, considering inclusivity requirements and environmental friendliness. It used renewable materials and encouraged active community participation for the sustainable development of the region.
Meet the Key Partner
Chulkov Dmitry Alexandrovich - artist. Architect. Landscape architect, with professional experience of 2003, co-owner of the DK Architect architectural studio, Co-author , Corps 7 of Rybalsky LCD and more, the winner of all-Ukrainian architectural competitions, in particular the project of reconstruction of the Central Park in Boryspil. Co-author of the projects of reconstruction of schools within the framework of the U-LEAD program with Europe. Co-author of the project of construction of a protective structure shelter in Boryspil.
Co-author of the Graphic Book "Miracles and Charry of Ukraine" (Publishing House "Fabula" of the publication is scheduled for 2024)
