The YsOU Foundation e.V.

The YsOU Foundation e.V. plays a crucial role in securing and promoting the Youth Symphony
Orchestra of Ukraine (YsOU). With a focus on supporting the artistic work of the YsOU, the foundation
facilitates concert tours and educational projects for young Ukrainian musicians. Additionally, it actively
engages in public relations and fundraising efforts to sustain the orchestra's activities. Importantly, the
foundation provides direct support to young Ukrainian musicians affected by the russian invasion,
emphasising its commitment to their well-being and artistic growth. Leveraging its extensive experience and
broad network in the music sector, particularly within the youth demographic, the YsOU Foundation serves
as an important pillar for the continued existence and successful artistic development of the Youth
Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine.

It is worth noting that the YsOU Foundation, represented by its executive board members Elena
Hestermann, Oleksandra Zaitseva, and Andrii Murza, has been actively involved in organizing international
projects for the YsOU for over 5 years, functioning as a team since 2019. As of January 2023, the
organization has been officially registered as a non-profit association.
