Kherson Regional Academic Music and Drama Theater of M. Kulish

It is one of the largest theaters of Southern Ukraine, the main theatrical stage of the Kherson region. He performs his activities on 7 stage sites: a large stage of theater, a cafe theater, a scene under the roof, a scene in the Oleshkovsky forest, a scene under a circle, a theatrical courtyard, a stage on stage. Prior to the commencement of a full -scale invasion of the Kulish repertoire, there were 57 performances for works of Ukrainian and foreign playwrights. On average, 36-40 performances played a month and produce 12-16 premiere performances a year. In 1999, at the initiative of the theater director, the Melpoman Tavriya Theater Festival was held, which in 2003 acquired the status of "International". Over the 25 years of its existence, more than 516 performances were shown at the festival, and about 230 theaters from 100 cities more than 20 countries have visited it. The festival took place even when the Kherson Theater was occupied by the rashists. After the release of Kherson, Arthab opened in a shelter in the bomb shelter showing performances and concert programs.
