Kino Guarimba Film Residency - Rebuilding Ukrainian Cultural Sector

Kino Guarimba is a collaborative residency program for international filmmakers in Calabria, Southern Italy. The topic of this edition will be “Rebuilding Ukrainian Cultural Sector”.

SoliDARE

SoliDARE main idea is to foster cultural exchange, audience building, best practice sharing and presentation of Ukrainian artists in Central Europe in the film industry. Project activities include community screenings, cultural residencies, masterclasses, workshops, and project visits, with a silent film concert for its opening event.

Babylon Villeneuve

Babylon Villeneuve is an international project for screening Ukrainian documentaries produced by Babylon'13 in French. Second season of this project includes 6 special events in the centre of Paris.

Focus Ukraine (Docudays at DokuFest)

DokuFest joins forces with Docudays, to spotlight Ukrainian documentary cinema and photographythrough Focus Ukraine at DokuFest in Kosovo. This partnership creates the festival's largest country-focused showcase to date, highlighting Ukrainian culture's resilience and creativity.

Babyn to Bakhmut

Filming and screening of the documentary video "Babyn to Bakhmut" about the Ivano-Frankivsk community that is currently defending Ukraine on the eastern and southern fronts, maintaining ties with those back home, and discussing the restoration of community relations on the example of one Carpathian village.

The country of my dreams

Our team is planning to hold two educational film camps in the cities of Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia for young people (14-21 years old) who want to contribute to the preservation and restoration of Ukrainian culture, the creation of a strong, developed, European country, and want to help counter Russian aggression. Among the participants will be teenagers who survived the war or are IDPs.

Ukrainian Film Days in Helsinki and Vilnius

Ukrainian Film Days featured films highlighting Ukrainian culture, history, and the theme "Women in Wartime." Screenings included Q&A sessions with filmmakers, fostering dialogue on gender roles and conflict. The event aimed to support Ukrainians abroad, raise awareness, and connect Ukrainian and international filmmakers.
