Association for Prefiguration of the Ukrainian Institute In France

Association for Prefiguration of the Ukrainian Institute In France - Association de Préfiguration de L'institut Ukrainien en France (APIUF) - is a newly created structure, which, nevertheless, has already managed to make itself known. From September 2022 to February 2023, the current team of ApIUF participated in the implementation of the festival "Ukrainian Spring" which was held in Paris by the Ukrainian Institute in cooperation with DOFA FUND, and during which about 100 events took place: lectures, discussions, film screenings, concerts, performances, literary readings, etc.
Today ApIUF promotes high-quality Ukrainian cultural products recognized by experts, helps Ukrainian cultural players to gain a foothold on the French market and counteract Russian propaganda in France.

The mission:
Strengthen Ukraine's ability to act through its cultural diplomacy,
To improve understanding and perception of Ukraine in France,
To develop Ukraine's international cultural relations.

Main projects:
Exhibitions in public areas in collaboration with City Hall of Paris Le Nouvel Obs, PEN, Gaité Lyrique;
Development of Academic programmes on the launch of Ukrainian studies programmes in cooperation with Sorbonne University,
Holding lectures and discussions at Sorbonne and Inalco Universities, Paris
Co-producing: the Week-end a l'Est festival, the Lavoir Modern Parisien theatre, Institute Francais, Gaité Lyrique, L'OBS, PEN, Espace des femmes, Cometa, EHESS.
