"DOCUDAYS" was founded in 1998. Over 25 years, the organisation has been moving towards fulfilling its vision (createa society of free people) and mission (create opportunities for everyone to watch prominent and relevant documentary films on human rights, bolster an active civic position and respect for human dignity among the audience, and support the Ukrainian film industry), laying in the foundation the comprehensive and inclusive access to high-quality events on the intersection of culture and human rights. Our projects: International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Docudays UA (Docudays UA for short) -the largest festival of its kind in Eastern Europe; Travelling Docudays UA - a decentralized film festival showing the best films of the main festival in different regions of Ukraine (20+ locations yearly); the DOCU/CLUB Network - a nationwide film clubs network, Ukraine War Archive - an online database of millions of pieces of war evidence, the DOCU/SYNTHESIS Interdisciplinary Art Programme, DOCUSPACE online cinema, and others.
