The space of change

Vision of the project

The Space of Changes project aimed to facilitate the current and post-war transformation of Zaporizhzhia through the development of a network of public spaces. By using cultural activities as a tool, the project sought to engage locals, particularly young people, in the reconstruction process. This was achieved through educational sessions, creative workshops, interactive excursions, and an innovative urban workshop.

The purpose was to attract as many stakeholders as possible, especially young people, to promote urban studies and the transformation of public spaces for community dialogue. The project included a hackathon, featuring a large panel discussion with representatives from local authorities, urbanists, hospitals, and businesses. This platform aimed to develop specific solutions to the city's problems.

Meet the Key Partner

Molod Online was founded by young people in 2016, in response to the challenges of young people's involvement in social processes, especially through media, transformation of spaces and media literacy. In 8 years, we have become a team that wants change and is able to implement them using all available resources. Unfortunately, as an organization we have not implemented many, but significant projects, such as "Stream to Steam" - where the opportunities of science, technology and innovation were opened for girls, "We and the City" - a coalition project in which we involved young people The cities to identify their pain points and to look for their solutions together (it was the results and inspired us for this project), and the urban project "Re: Construction" in which we explored our city, and which could not be finished because of a full -scale invasion. All of these projects have become possible solely thanks to a powerful team of people who have experience in completely different fields and projects, but are ready to bring it to joint projects to achieve our goal.
