Social recovery in frontline and de-occupied communities.

Vision of the project

The project "Social Recovery in Frontline and De-occupied Communities" was created in response to the needs of Oleksiyivska ATC in Kharkiv Oblast after being in the frontline zone and the needs of Tsyrkunivska ATC following a period of occupation and hostilities. The aim was to restore social ties, promote cultural development, and strengthen civic awareness among the youth communities of these areas.

The project included organising and conducting various educational lectures, discussions, competitions, hiking trips, and workshops. It also focused on developing cultural and educational spaces, creating information content, and fostering further interaction with project participants.

 

Meet the Key Partner

NGO KOLO LISU is public organization with an experience of 6 years, we are engaged in recreation, cultural and educational activities, green tourism. We organize festivals, retrites, hiking and eco-actions. Our location is the territory of 18 hectares, borders on the NP "Gomilshansky forests". The space is equipped with water and power supply, camping contains 300 guests.

Two months before the start of a full -scale invasion, we opened a cultural space in Kharkiv. He combined education, culture and art. The art space worked for two months, there were concerts, master classes, lectures, theatrical performances and conferences. During this time, more than 2,500 people visited the space.
In the spring of 2022, the space was destroyed by the Russian rocket and is not recoverable.
Over the past two years, we have returned to the activity, conducted one major recreational retrite for 200 adults, a weekly retrite of silence for mental health renewal, two rehabilitation measures for children from the de -mentioned territories of Kharkiv region. Organized eco-action of planting trees.
