The cultural centre Tabačka Kulturfabrik was opened in 2009. In May 2015, the space underwent extensive renovation and modernisation. Tabačka Kulturfabrik is an unmissable point of live culture in the city and the region, a place of meeting, collaboration and inspiration. Its most important activities include the creation, operation and regular programming of Tabačka Kulturfabrik, a cultural centre focused on culture and contemporary art, community development, informal education, critical thinking, open society and tolerance. The non-profit organization has become a solid base, a functional tool and a guarantor of a free and tolerant attitude during its existence.
