Nosadella.due, Cultural Association

The Cultural Association Nosadella.due born in 2006 in Bologna (Italy) to carry on the program "Nosadella.due - Independent Residency for Public Art" - founded and directed by Elisa Del Prete - the first Italian domestic residency programme where private dimension and public engagement were strongly linked. During ten years of activities it hosted International artists like Bridget Baker, Aleksandrija Ajdukovic, Aleksandra Stratimirovic, Kyla Davis, Kalin Serapionov, Fucking Good Art, Margherita Moscardini, Andreas Golinski, Nico Dockx, André Guedes, Heidi Lunabba, Jukka Korkeila, Markus Hofer, Andrea Nacciarriti, Beatrice Catanzaro, Søren Lose, Simon Moretti, Reynold Reynolds, Cesare Pietroiusti, Luca Ferro, Adelaide Cioni, Mirko Smerdel, among the others. The residency approach was focused on experimental projects and the artists were invited to design new projects to be produced specifically as an outcome of the residency programme. Based in a pleasant and intrigued city like Bologna, over the years Nosadella.due has focused in Public Art Projects. Once the residency program was concluded, NOS Visual Arts Production was born in 2018 as a curatorial board of the cultural association for the design, production and promotion of contemporary art. By bringing together form and content, NOS acts with the sensitivity of the curator and the awareness of the producer to create site-specific artistic projects and new works of art for extraordinary contexts, taking care of the multiple aspects that make artistic projects and their multiple uses possible. Elisa Del Prete and Silvia Litardi are the directors of NOS Visual Arts Production.
