Centre of Social Innovations

The Centre for Social Innovations was established in 2013 to develop social, economic, and public potential through the implementation of educational and promotional initiatives, the introduction of innovative teaching methods, and more. Its activities are focused on the comprehensive innovative development of society, which is realised through work in various areas such as economics, education, culture, science, entrepreneurship, ecology, and social issues. The foundation of its success lies in professionalism and personal qualities, which allow the team to work with and for people, spread high standards of project management, and create new opportunities.

The centre has significant experience in socio-economic activities, implementing diverse projects in collaboration with the public, business, government, and international partners. Today, it is an institution that unites specialists, each of whom is an expert in their field and capable of successfully implementing ideas that address the most urgent issues.

In recent years, the centre has been the organiser and co-organiser of numerous events and projects focused on culture, education, and local development. The main projects include the long-term ethnocultural project "Ecological Perspective" (since 2013) – focusing on ecological art and ethno-textiles, "Lviv Design Partnership" within the framework of the international project "Creative Spark" (funded by the British Council in Ukraine, 2018-2023) – developing design partnerships in cooperation with Cardiff School of Arts and Design, LNAA, and others. "Lviv Unites and Strengthens" (UNDP grant, 2022) – providing support for internally displaced persons and volunteers, and "Histories in Things. Escapes and Arrivals".
