ARTMEDIA Cultural Foundation

The ARTMEDIA Cultural Foundation (founded in 1992) is a private cultural institution whose general objectives are to stimulate and promote local, national, and universal cultural values. The main purpose of the foundation is to promote the performing arts. It’s the first non-governmental organization in the field of theatrical artistic management in western Romania, which opened the doors of the state theaters for national and international productions.

Artmedia organized over 250 performances in the Western region of Romania, 4 tours from abroad, 118 theatrical-artistic cafes, and 7 charity shows with a social and community purpose.

Recent projects of Artmedia:

• Sunlight Theater Edition I (2020), Edition II (2021), Edition III (2022)
• Sunlight Theatre, 4th edition (Mar-Nov 2023) - theatrical season with 8 established shows, 2 Japanese productions, an international festival with invited schools from 5 countries, and over 20 debates, artist-talks.
• Norwegian co-production "Rules of the Games".
